AFA Asks Georgia Congressional Delegation to Facilitiate Meeting with President Obama about Federal Court

Advocacy for Action has asked all members of the Democratic Georgia Congressional delegation to convene a meeting with President Obama about the proposed slate of candidates for the Northern District and 11th circuit courts.  The letters note that the preferred course of action is to delay in filling the open seats rather than accept  a compromise which results in judges who do not reflect the diversity of the community and whose judicial philosophies are at odds with those espoused by the President.  You can read the letters by clicking on the links below.
