Written By: Admin - Mar• 14•14

Advocacy For Action had to take the unprecedented step of filing suit against the Judicial Nominating Commission for its utter failure to respond to an Open Records Request by AFA.  The open records request sought  public information on applicants who sought judicial appointments under Governor Nathan Deal’s administration.   The purpose for the public information is to compile statistical information on the gender, race and qualifications all applicants to compare to those who have received judicial appointments by Governor Deal. You can read about the lawsuit in the Daily Report article.   AFA Article Judicial Nominating Commission Sued Under Open Records Law
